Whats up everyone? My name is Mike and I'm from Ellwood City, PA. I met someone from Crux up in Boardman a couple years about during supernats and added your Myspace group which is where I found the link for your forum. I currently drive a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT and I am a member of Poor Boyz Motorsports.
Here's the most up to date picture of my car...

Thanks!
As for the drop, I have the Megan Racing 32-way street coilovers. Most guys on the 3g forum like to go with tein s-tech springs with kyb agx struts.

I guess it totally depends on what you want to do with the car. If i could do it over again i probably would have went with a 2g because of the awd and 4g63. don't get me wrong i love my car but if you want to get a lot of power out of it you're gonna spend a lot of money for a supercharger or turbo setup. although if you get the 4cyl version you can swap an evo head onto it and put together a turbo kit for a pretty good price and make decent numbers. overall i like the car. its fun to drive, handles pretty good and has decent power but like i said 4g63 if you wanna go fast.

hahaha i can relate to headaches, had a lot of them when me and my brother started messing with the shelby i have in the garage, took us a yr and a half to get everything right on it, we even blew it up in the process of tryin to get it right. 400 hp runnin on 35 psi on a 4 cylinder car. its originally a turbo car we just did lots of upgrading and rebuilding
my shelby i wrecked never gave headaches..the motor is still good everything is not even a yr old on it...i need a new intercooler tho...i was thinkin about gettin an eclipse n seeing if i could use that engine in it...it was a 2.5...hmm something to look into and research i suppose

That's rear wheel drive right? That may be your issue fitting that engine in an eclipse.

yea i would like to do that i think hahaha but no the car is front wheel drive, the other shelby i have is rear wheel drive. if i cant put the engine in the eclipse from my shelby ill just tear off the parts i can use to turbo the mitsu motor. but it sits in my garage all day haha. and money isnt the problem after i get the car haha.....its finding the time to do it dave lol.

so im thinking...if i get the eclipse i want, turbo it....make it run atleast 13's in the quarter mile im thinkin thats fast enuf for my liking if im goin to daily driver this thing for a while til im out of school....the car is silver, the white rims i have from my shelby will fit on the car. i wanna take the black convertable top and make it bright white, and paint the car white in the front and fade it into a dark candy hot pink towards the back hahaha. atleast so it has a girls touch eh??

or just paint the whole car bright pink, I guess if the fades done right it could look good, will stand out so hopefully it does!

is this the 4-cylinder one? If not I would suggest the 4 cylinder eclipse if your going the turbo route. Mike will tell you, he's been on the 3g forums for awhile now and its much easier to boost the 4 cylinder than the 6. Mainly because a lot of the Evo and dsm parts are usuable. You could do an evo head swap or an entire Evo 4g63t swap. There was an article in turbo magazine a while back with someone who did the swap and said it was fairly easy to do.
