omg why didnt i see this before? the reason the exhaust runner was not black is because the manifold was leaking because that bolt was broken. (not by me i found it like that dont know why). you can see it on the outside of the head. how did i miss that.

I think you could have dropped the front cross member and whole engine/trans assembly faster than this, and had it back in by now.

i pulled the motor, dropped the steering column, converted everything from auto to manual, swapped in the new transmission and drive train components, put the motor back in, hooked up all the lines/electronics, and had her back on the road in 3 days.... (on jackstands in my garage i might add). U give brett a full shop with air tools and a lift and it takes him 4 weeks to put on headers

even though brett pisses me off and i want to hit him atleast he is doing it himself which i guess even though it is taking him 10x the needed time to do this so i mean props for that brett even though your knowledge about turbos and alot of other things is not good at all

Very good point. Id rather see him learning the hard way rather than just handing his money over to someone else to do this.

Personal Experience = knowledge for the future.

i only get to work an hour a day! an hour and a half if i'm lucky. i was suspended 3 days, spent a day putting in the short throw shifter, spent a day painting the calipers. a day masking and painting the intake manifold. plus i had to pull the head its not like it takes me this long just for the headers. there where complications and days that i worked on other shit. you guys can tallk all the shit you want i'm just telling you that you dont know what your talking about.

are u trying to brag about being able to change headers and take an intake manifold off?
I'm pretty sure i could hand my sister a wrench and two sockets and she could manage to do it too

stang dude you know as well as i do that i did way more then that. or maybe i'm giving you too much credit. but you sound like you know better then that. you should look through this thread. i'm pretty sure you can't see pistons from just taking the intake manifold off. or maybe your just on the "lets talk shit to brett for no reason and see how pissed he gets" :bandwagon:

That doesnt say "cylinder head"..... which is what you need to remove to see your pistons... other than the spark plugs... if you want to get technical.

uhh he doesnt rip on me that i know of. but yeah all he says about my car is that the rear tires are bald and that their a bitch to work on. thats it.

:horse: :horse: :horse: :horse: :horse: ok i'm going to explain myself again.
he said
are u trying to brag about being able to change headers and take an intake manifold off?

so i said
i'm pretty sure you can't see pistons from just taking the intake manifold off.

and then posted this pic.

to prove that i had done more then that.

if you guys cant comprehend that i dont know what to tell ya.

you started off as a long tube install and now you have the head and intake manifold off lol..

uh yeah the manifold bolts where seized jake. that means they got really hot and bonded with the head. so i had to take it off to drill it out. how many more times am i going to have to tell you that? its kinda out of my control.
