does anyone know where the oil pressure sender taps into on a inpreza?

Do a google search for ECU pin outs on an WRX it will list the sender unit on the ecu, that is where I taped for my air/fuel when I have that one in the car.

you can tap into the gally plug on top of the motor like i did or you can run an oil sandwhich adapter

honestly this has absolutly nothing to do with what is being asked.

all you need if its an electronic gauge is power and ground

Factory oil Pressure sensor?

no man hes asking hows he hooks up an oil pressure sending unit...hence not factory. why would anyone want anything to do with the shitty factory sensor. By the time that oil light comes on your dash your motor is already fucked

Ideally you would want a gauge that alerts you when the pressure drops >10... However, generally with an oil pressure failure thats pump related there is no time to prevent damage before its to late.

I have a STRI 60mm eletronic with warning light gauge. I think my sending units fucked up right now cause at cold starts i get 40psi and it like to drop to 6-0 psi after warmed up at redlights.

maybe its almost time for a new built motor

Just looked into their gauges, they don't look bad.

I'm looking for a in cabin FPR gauge, however i'd like an audible alarm on it, anyone know if they exist in 52mm imperial?

the gauge wont read off the stock sender. and the sender that the guage was sent with wont fit cause the damn thing is huge. is there any where else on the block i can run it?

get a little t pipe fitting then put the origional sender on top then run the new sender out the side of it...... ill find a pic

i'll post pics of mine up this weekend
