t/a is all stock suspension... only prob is that i have a spool in the rear end so it would just slide the rear around corners, i would be drifting everywhere lol.

if i put a limited slip in the back it would handle pretty sweet... would have to find my front sway bar too

It's impossible to get the feeling of driving on the track on the street or at a drag strip

+1 unless you like the feeling of possibly slamming into another car as a rush.......

BAHAHHAHAHA, dude you make me laugh so HARD.

Go to the circuit track, please, then you will understand, and refrain from making statements such as above.

There really IS NOT anything close to the experience of open track that you see on the street. You wanna ride with me on the track and I'll fuckin have you about to piss yourself in a car thats alot slower than yours

There's no place on the street where you actually have prepped surfaces and the room to carry the speed and really exploit vehicle dynamics.

Nelson is a 13 turn, 2 mile roadcourse. The lap record is 56 seconds. :nono:

FWIW My work is holding two (2) separate events at Nelson this year.

5/08/08 - -5/11/08 ; a customer appreciation days event Dynatek/Superformance

9/12 - 9/14 ; Dyno Days at the Ledges Dyantek/Dyanmic Motorsports

The Sept event should be open to others so long as the car passes tech. Our event last year with SVTOA Pitts saw quite a few cars on the track.

I guess I'll keep posted, but it might be a fun one to check out at least for you guys that haven't been. We will have professional instructors onhand, as you don't exactly just get turned loose on your own if its your first time. Later in the day if you show you are comfortable, you can go by yourself in the amatuer runs.

All runs are point to pass, straights only. 28min sessions.

How much do you think you will improve upon it once you've mastered the launch and feel comfortable with it? You gonna strap the front down?

nooooo.. not with his trap... Gary would need to be RIPPING out of the hole..... Like 1.5 60ft or better......, its either that or lose some weight, or just have a lighter rider drive it in general lol.

no making fun of you Gary, your just a bigger dude, nothing wrong with that.

I dunno, I got Gary by 50 pounds and I'll betcha I can make his bike run the same or more likely FASTER than he can. I haven't ever raced a street bike in my life but I'm a stud on my dirt bike. :D

You kiddin me? I can beat your times on a Katana beeotch! Seriously, how much faster do you expect it to run though? Most bikes like yours with GREAT riders get maybe a 1.7 short time, your prolly not gonna get below 2.0??? Think it will go in the 10's by end of summer?

dude, im not the all knowing wizard of oz... im not sure what it will run, i know im gonna try to get a better time outta it today though... its just a toy, i dont really care... you should be worrying about what im really serious about and thats my t/a

...but honestly i'll be happy if i see a 10.6-10.7 out of it, which is way possible... just need a swingarm extension or better launches
