hey... they are good speakers... but ill tell you what.. i used to be an audiophile. go to horizon and check out the diamond audio stuff. you can not beat it. a d6 is like a jl w6 and its a fraction of the price... and i feel that they distort less. thats if you want subs... 6x9s... go with polk. you can buy them anywhere and they are amazing. never blew one out.

I'm just a hater and need only good quality sound rather than that bone rattling bass, and ear piercing highs.

I have Polk/Momo components front and rear amped. Best speakers I've ever heard. They weren't particularly cheap but dammit they sound good.

OK- so after some long weekends that felt waisted i have ended up to this point so far.
1. I have installed a jlaudio cleensweep in my car, works good but i have to get around a swcond volume control.
2. Finally figured out how i was going to, and ran power wire.
3. Rewired all four speakers
4. dynomatted all four doors.

So far my work is not as good as i expect it to be, and im waiting for it to get warmer caz it sux working in cold weather, plus id be a happy camper with some sunshine.
As far as sound goes i need to have a sit-down with my stereo and get it fine tuned. One of my speaker baffles is vibrating and sounds like i blew the woofer out. all in all its good for now and im able to integrate an aux in to my system. I will keep you posted when i make some headway.
Ill grab them in the corners

Single 12 the one I have in my car now was putting out the same amount of bass as the two 12's I had in my car before.

If you want a decent amount, look for a 12 with about 400watts rms. Hook it up with a 600-700 watt amp which should peak around there you should be set and you only going to be adding about 40lbs max maybe
