Flappy paddles.
Yup. As much as I love the GT-R, its sequential box wouldnt do it for me. I dont care if it can physically shift faster than I can, it just wont be as fun. Same goes for the F1 boxes in Ferrari's and other sequential boxes in BMW's, Veyron, Lambos.. ect ect..
They call these boxes a manual because it does actually have a clutch unlike an autotranny. It just uses an electronic single to activate a cylinder that operates the throw out/clutch fork through the slap of a paddle. So when your sitting at a stop light in 1st gear, and let off the brake the car does not move like an auto would. It doesnt move until you hit the accelerator which engages the clutch and then off you go.
Just not my cup... yet... maybe an f430 would change my mind? hmm.
