low offset wheels on dumped cars is quite the rage these days. this car has the ultimate wheel fitment/stance.

Specs of the wheels:

Hayashi Racing 505's. 15x11 -30 offset on the rear with 225/25/15 , 15x10 -10 on the front with a 15 mm spacer and 205/50/15 tires.

Paragraph about the suspension from the article about it:

All the 240Z coilovers available in the US would not go low enough for what I wanted. For the car to be REALLY low, I would have to droop the springs excessively and I had no idea if I would be left with any travel. At first I tried using S13 coilovers. I cut the lower brackets to fit over the stock shock tubes, but to my dismay they wouldn’t go low enough, and I was left with less than an inch of travel at the height I was aiming for. I then started looking at different coilovers; ones meant for Miata, S2000, etc. I settled on coilovers meant for the Integra DC2. I drove out to the East Bay to pick up a used set of Function Forms, and figured I would use them as a guinea pig to see how compatible they would be with the car. They actually worked great. I went ahead and welded the lower brackets to the shock tubes in a similar fashion as I did with the S13 coilovers, except this time I would adjust pre load and ride height independently. To be honest, I was not expecting much from these coilovers, but for the time being I am quite satisfied. They ride well, very smooth, but don’t allow for excessive travel nor are they bouncy.

I love wheels that fill the wheelwells out to the edge for sure; but the worst thing about this trend is there are too many cars with goofy rear camber just to fit stuff. If the rears have more than the fronts it just looks inherently wrong and usually performs as such. My favorite cars usually have whatever bodywork is nessesary to have the rears sit near straight up and down or close and the front has a matching look.

I had the over cambered rears on DSMs forever over the years and after having one with adjustable uppers to correct it; every other one I see now looks broke :P

I would for sure rock the shit out of that 240.

What he said, sure it looks ok... but this is a VW trend that is just HOMO. That car most likely rides and handles like complete shit.

Yeah, I just can't really get into it. Even on actual "hotrods" it just doesn't do it for me, looks unfinished or something haha.

On wheel fitment, I like them kinda like tom said. Meaty tire standing pretty much straight. Like this:

i downloaded a tune in forza 3 for my foxbody and the wheels were deep as fuck like that datsun. im going to figure out later how to make em look like that, he probably just made them wider and picked the right wheel.

Oh nice looking back i see the pulled fenders/flares now. I wonder if thats an actual JDM Altezza, then it would just be a 2.0 or 2.5 liter I4 I do believe...
