went to Quaker tonight, i really wanted a high 12s pass, i got it my 1st pass 12.9@102 1.8 60ft.

NO. you will run slower with 100 octane unless you tooon with it fool. 100 octane plus a few more psi's and more timing (especially down low since you told me your spool rpm) will allow for those traps.

You can run lower 12's with a better 60ft 1.7 is do able my cars previous owner managed it for his 12.7@103.

Not sure why you didn't consider a 20g 7cm and some 720's.... Ive got one on my mind the VF's just run outta juice, 110mph-115mph pump gas WRX would be more fun.

actually the tuner told me to run the 100octane... he has the exact setup as me.. he went 12.9 @ 106 on 93 and with 100 octane and no changes in tuning he went 12.4@?cant remember... i thought about the 20g but broken tranny and having to do a engine rebuild didnt seem too fun, anything over 300+hp u pass that barrier of reliability, not saying if u have 350hp it will break but its alot more likely for (expensive) things to break

Hey well give it a try then lol Higher the octane the harder it is to combust thats all, it doesn't make a bigger boom or anything its not N02, its still stoich at 14.7 unless its got ethanol added to it. If he made these runs back to back under the same conditions and got that outcome cool but it was prolly different nights (which does make a difference, especially in diff temps). When I added race gas to my 240 I went from trapping 106-107mph on street tires to 104 mph and running basically the same time with the same 60fts. I was most likely right around 100 octane (I only added a few gallons of 110) My car was ran the same day back to back under the same conditions. Had I dumped timing into my car and had a turbo on it that flowed more than 11psi efficiently It would have worked great.

112mph on e85 through a vf is pretty good.

i didnt believe him at 1st until he told me the times, ill give it a shot in the next few weeks, im getting a new clutch in this week hopefully i wont break anything. i really wish they sold e85 locally id be all over it

Yeah I haven't been out too much lately. Last week I was in Myrtle Beach and the week or two before that I was just working alot and not doing much else haha.
