World's Most Powerful SOHC

Well as I stated in a previous thread that we had made the most powerful SOHC so far. We finally got it to the track, and where we are, isn't the best of all tracks... LOL They would only let him run 1/8th cause they weren't sure what would happen.... But we did get some good numbers...

Another dude at the track with a Supra ran a 9.5 in the 1/4 at the same track one weekend before and had the SAME exact times in the 1/8th as Mike did.

Pass 1: 6.61 @109
Pass 2: 6.52 @ 110

That wasn't on high boost or all out. Just some shake down passes... We are gonna get a bigger catch can and change some lines for that and then run again hopefully the Friday after this one coming. Will update some more when we get times.

Will post pics and video's now. When we went 10.97 we had only 4grand into the hatch. It was a vitara set-up with 452 HP. Pics soon!!!

One piece front end from Frank's Fiberglass in Bernville PA. We did have a three piece for it, but just spent the money and had the whole thing done, cage certified and everything.... :)

thats what i was gonna do. vitara pistons/eagle rods, ZEX cam and an ssautocrome kit.

He had a 60 trim stock internals, 600hp intercooler and that was it.. no nitrous or anything. I was surprised at what we went.... IT was a good investment.... just went through tranny's like it was cool. We went through 11 tranny's in like 3 months i think it was, cause the stock d series tranny wouldn't hold the power....!! lol

Well bring this back from the dead. We went back to Texas at the beggining of October, put down less power, like 650whp and ran at an 1/8th mile track out there... went 6.47 @ 117mph and then came home. Finally got to run the 1/4 here in NC friday night for Halloween...

Three passes were all 10.2xx.

Mike's birthday was on Sunday, and the track was open then too. So he went out and ran a 6.40@118 1/8 and 9.64@153 1/4
and then a second pass to back that up, first time pulling the chute too, ran a 9.98@143 1/4. Happy b-day to him! haha
