Whd up? Finally got on here, most of you should know who I am from boardman and austintown. Name is Dan Killa and I have an 06 Evolution. Started out as a Buschur Racing 350 edition, and since through mods...now put down 467whp and 361 torque on a mustang dyno. So on a dyno jet it would have a 20-22% increase in numbers.

Will gladly race the post above lol...as for the winter u could say ya!!!! Doin a whole lot more, just gotta wait and see come this spring! Got the graphs here in my room, just not to good with computers when it comes to scanning and putting up the graphs on forums and pics!

Nope fellas never tracked it due to the tranny, I knew it would prolly fail due to the stress on it. All dsm trannys, everyones knws they aint the best. So lets just say everything is gettin alil somethin. If I did run the car though...cars that were Idenitcal to mine mod for mod...ran 10.8-11.2's. So im hopin to go way lower this year! And will actually run it!

Granted you can launch and drive it properly.

This is what I don't understand, you never tracked it with last years power and this year your adding more?! Oh deearr.

I'd bet hes putting a shep tranny or his gears in...

I'd go with a TRE over a Shep. After 4 years of thread after thread on Tuners about the two different companies, TRE always seems to come out on top.

As the past owner of a Tym Swietzer and a Shep stg II trans...

I don't think I'd give shep any more $.

Well, a few things. I took them a sweitzer box, a trans I had for like 4 yrs of ABUSE. That had a gvr4 1st gear, stainless rails etc.

I broke a fork. I wanted the stg I rebuild.

I got talked into the stage II, brought a few dead stockers for core credit.

They disputed the strength of the GVR4 1st, said they use their own (which I'm guessing is stock....well...that was gay cause I liked the GVR4 alot better)

From the get-go, it was really super nice. However, after my 2nd gear oil change, in which I ran a slightly thicker oil, I started getting synchro crunching.

Perhaps I should've drained and refilled with straight mt90 and not mt90/redline 75-90 mix. Idk.

I was mad and fedup with the car. I made a hasty move, sold it and bought an lt1 t/a instead.

Just wanted something nicer, and less 'hardcore' as the laser drove/acted like a straight track car. I don't think I'd trade back, as I love my trans am, and the t-56 alot more than shitsu gearboxes... and I love rwd.

I guess I'd have to write like 3 pages of backlog on my car to really illustrate. Maybe I'll copy/paste my 'story' from DSMtalk.


Anyhow, doing it again, and reading others reviews, I'd still try TRE.

BTW if ANY of you guys have a line on a 91-94 awd 5spd roller/shell thats in good shape, I want it.

I'm not going to fall prey to a shitty tune this time.

FWIW, I saw reliegeous 1.72 60's on both trans. Full weight, pumpgas, half bald street-tires.
