Sorry late rambling while dead tired. The weather is really killing me, cold nights and all and the lack of any kind of street racing is really ruining my late spring / early summer. I remember the glory days of street racing until 2-4 am, when we would finally decide to call it a night, not the cops. I remember when people used to trailer cars from Akron, Pittsburgh, Cleveland just for some damn street racing. Looks like those days may never come back and its real disturbing. Especially considering we had a controlled area to do it in, where the only people that got hurt (during the times large crowds were there) were very few and ignoring all the warnings / semi-rules a lot of us regulars knew. That pissing me off and maybe a little alcohol contributed to that last post. For that reason I am deleting it. Cory you make a lot of good points and I was wrong, for my solid runs I was in the 110-13mph range....of my times I wrote of were actually in the 117-119mph area....sorry for the all the misinformation..! Guess I should really try reading my logs when drinking.

mph is definatly the best indicator there is. I would run anywhere from 13.8-13.3 with my car, always trapping 101-103. 60fts were all over the place due to street tires and some pedaling, but the point is, mph will never really vary more than a few up or down.

Races are won at the tree and 60ft mark.

and with the numbers that guy was spitting, the car had to weigh no more than like 2300lbs with driver...
