So I totally forgot to introduce myself sorry, lol. The name is Dan i'm freinds with killa and sabo although many of you may have never met me. I used to be big into racing quads at the local harescrambles(placed 5th overall in open class in 2004 and 2005). I recently got into cars about two years ago. I work at circuit city as a full time car electronics installer, been there two years now. Matter of fact i just put an XM radio in craig's F150 this week. I currently own an 07 Tc and a 90 Talon Tsi awd. FOr any that might remember i used to drive a black 97 sierra that i put a 6" lift and 35"s on. Any other questions just ask.

91 and later sandwich style works better anyhow

but it is kinda trick lol...bout the only thing i find quasi useful about the 1990 cars. Everything else on them sucks ass and is different in some stupid way. At least they got the bigger rods in 90......

91 w/ a 4bolt swap ftmfw
or a 92 6/4 if you're into that 1gb stuff

Oh and to the OP, go get a blown 91 and later trans and have them built that one.....prolly be cheaper than paying to convert it. Just grab the t-case too. Pretty sure the axles will still fit the same.

I had a shep stg II. RUN THE MT90!!!!! Don't mix with norm redline or it WON'T synchro brake correctly

ask me how i know

You like that style better? I always thought the 90 style was the superior one.

From what I had read the only advantage to the 90 style was that it eliminated the extra coolant lines behind the turbo in tight fitting apps, and you couldn't overtighten the filter risking crushing the 'sandwich' mixing coolant and oil.

An AFTERMARKET cooler works better, so people use the 90 HOUSING to hook one up, but stock vs stock I believe the sandwich is the way to fly.

I had an extra but I gave it away already...sorry guys :?
