WELL ITS OFFICIAL GUYS I HAVE JUST SPENT A LARG SOME OF MONEY AND GOT QUAKER RENTED ON AUG 3RD. IM CALLING THE SHOW BACK TO BASICS. ITS RUN WHAT U BRUNG, NO TIMERS, LIGHTS, OR RULES. FIRST ONE TO THE END OF THE TRACK WINS. U PICK UR APOINENT, DO A BURN OUT, LINE UP AND WATCH THE FLAG DROP. FROM THER ON ITS BALLS OUT RACING. ALSO A CAR SHOWS PROFESIONALY JUDGE WITH TONS OF CLASSES.

TIME- AUG 3RD 12PM-6PM
PLACE- QUAKER CITY RACEWAY

YEA THERE WILL BE MY CARCLUB WILL BE THERE IF NE THING HAPPENS. I WORK THERE SO IF THERE SOMETHING MAJOR WRONG I WILL BUST OUT THE TRACKER AND DRAG THE TRACK IF I HAVE TOO,

I WILL NEED HELP FROM EVERYONE ON THIS ONE SO I DONT LOOSE MY ASS ON HOW MUCH MONEY I SPENT TO GET THE TRACK SO LET EVERYONE U KNOW , KNOW. ITS OPEN TO EVERYTHING AND IN THE CAR SHOW THERE WILL BE A CLASS FOR EVERYTHING SO, INFORM EVERYONE......

I'm curious as to what year at what trim level your car is, Vinnie. The G54B 4 cyl engine is from the very early 80s and even with a whole 2.6 Liters, it'll need a bit more than 3 lbs of turbocharged boost to accomplish anything in the 14s. I think you meant 13psi, not 3... :lol:

3 lbs of boost maybe if it was built with high compression... ie: 10 to 1 or greater...

Horsepower varied between 150 and 197 bhp (147 kW) depending mostly upon the turbocharger that was fitted, the presence of an inter cooler, and whether the 8-valve or 12-valve head was used.

I think he might be being a bit optimistic......

I have a 1977 chevy monza with a 406 small block that runs 10's on a 125 shot of nitrous. Off the bottle it will run 11.60's. The reason why the conquest was only runnin 3lbs of boost was becuase the idiot that had the car before me set it all up wrong and i didnt know that until i started takin it all apart. there were so many things wrong with it i couldnt even begin to tell you. lol

Boost gauge tells you how much boost you are running :thumbsup:
