Added a boost pump with a 3psi hobbs switch and all is good. 15v rock steady under boost. 17v sounded like the innards of the Bosch were going to come flying through the case.

Yeah well If I was rocking the stock 80 amp alt I'd be at around 12.2-12.0.... Maybe less with dual pumps. I'm running a Quest minivan alternator which is 130amps, powers everything awesome! 6-coils, ign box, ecu, dual fans, dual pumps, accessories the works and still puts out 14.5-14.6 volts to the battery.
You might actually get a vid later of some of the pulls we were doing to 5500@14psi with basically no timing added.. (missing 2500 rpms...) and a bonus... As long as my computer can upload it all fast enough for me to cut apart and get uploade it to youtube I'll be sure to post.
