ok wow put words in my mouth. i never said lsx was the best choise. i just said that he told me he was doin that. im gono build up my lt1....which is a small block.... and yeah how do i not know what im talking about? i mean there is always room to learn more but i do know my share about cars. i have rebuilt 3 engines and fixed countless shit at my school. i'm a sr. in the auto tech class at mcc&tc. i mean im not trying to brag just sayin you dont know how much i know so dont be so quick to talk.

sure... 600-700hp, 28"-30"x15" slicks, a 4.56+ gear in the diff, some vht thrown down on the pavement, and a 10 second burnout prior to launching... right... that is def gonna happen on the street! :roll: :roll: :roll: kids....

As for running 9's to beat SVT_THIS's car, Garys yet to run a 10 with it.... Gary Jr. on the other hand owns basically a drag car not a street car.... There are plenty of street imports out there that would beat his car.... some are pretty local as well. :thumbsup:

I'm just stating what I did, because I was right behind a s/c'd fox on fatties/skinnies on 422 and the motherfucker damn near drug the bumper from a 20 roll. I'm not standing behind other peoples anything as I don't know either of them, all I'm saying is there ARE some seriously legit cars out there, and just because they aren't imports or on this site/boardman/wherever doesn't mean they don't exist.

I've spent 4 yrs living in Detroit during the pre-gas-finance-econonmy BS and the cars coming out of that area were fucking insane, so I know shit exists outside of a few. Not that this kids car will ever be, or even materialize, or whatever. I just always hear the 'I'm gonna do this and this and this and run this' crap. 95% keep on talking, and the other 5% either give up completely or turn out a mean ass ride. No one wants to hear your pipedreams. It's what you've done.

Freaking build it and shut people up (that goes for both sides) or STFU.

i'd of loved to see that... and not that i dont believe u tom, cause i know you're credible. But a car without enough power to pull the wheels would mostly likely sit there and roast tire all day without vht or heating em up first... unless those were some retarded huge meats on the back :lol:

A gutted/caged fox on a stock sytle and height suspension w/ 90/10s should be alot easier to get up on the street than a long ass wheelbased and heavier f-bod anyhow :P

Those brand new zr1s and brand new tires, tires and wheels have like MAAAAAAYBE 200 miles. If that. Absolutely flawless. 17x9.5 aand 17x11 with 275s and 315s respectively. Those and sportlines for $1100.

Fox and an f-body are totally different, I know this. Just stating that wheels get pulled on the street (your favor of the argument btw)

i knew this was going to turn into the "my buddies car is faster den yoz im an ethug thread"

and the honda that beat both your buddies f bodys is a pretty mild honda. single cam motor, stock internals, basic turbo kit.......not really that much into the car. probably less in the whole car than what your buddys paid for their f bodys.
