i pee`d lol

and to jason everyone has there own opinion on what motor they think is hawt shit and the greatest thing out there shit they make subaru boxters 4 wheelers ls1 into a 240`s trunk i mean people take motors and put them in all kinds of things stick up for what you like thats cool but they are just giving you their 2 cents

well i honesty think it is pointless to build a 4 cylinder no matter what make. Gm honda Mitsubishi. Its stupid. Think about it. Sure u can put a turbo on it but if your going for fast put a turbo or supercharger on a v8. Really think aboout it. Small motor small power. Big motor big power. Sure u can make a 4 banger fast but why when a v8 is cheaper and more reliable. I dont understand the point. Its all the same. Honda might use a little different Technology on with there V-tech but still a b16 is still only a 1.6L what do u expect. there is a reason pretty much all race cars use V8's or v10 or v12 not many 4 bangers unless its in a 4 cyl class or something. If u think its smarter to build a V8 than a 4 cyl than IDk what ur smoking. Hell even build a 6 cyl in an import of whatever. Whatever dude.

i agree with you lol you must be on mad drow lmao

i think its pretty amazing getting a 1.6l to run a12 sec pass and some are faster than that and who in the world said v8 = better reliability thats nonsense talking man... do you have proof of this so call v8>4cyl because unless it was studied in a lab by scientists its all opinion and if small motors like 1.6l can throw down the hp ive seen them (holy cow i cant even imagine what v8s do they must be in the 5k hp range) sarcasm is what thats called for over offensive people my point being everything you stated is opinion and small motors do throw down huge numbers

Really think about it. Say 600hp from a 4 cyl compared to 600hp on a V8. That 4 cyl has got to work twice as hard as the v8 because its half the engine. Make sense? Its very simple. Say u are lifting 100 lbs and u way 160lbs. Most people can only pick it up say 15-20 times or whatever. But a 350lbs guy can do it alot more alot easier. (and not a 350lbs fat guy) Yeah sure 12 in a 1/4 is good for a 1.6. but how bout 7's with a 5.0, Stangs have been in the 8's with street cars with street radials on them for a while. Thats ALOT faster than a 12 in a 1.6. Then a 1.6 will never have as much torque as a 5.7 unless the 5.7 is stock and the 1.6 is a drag motor. I cant say shit about rotary engine because they are onll 1.3 litre and they make some power to but they are a whole different design. I would say the rotary engine is WAY more of an accomplishment then V=Tec. If u dont understand why v8's are better for most things like drag cars then u are hopeless in the car world. And agian... Im NOT saying all 4 cyl cars are slow. Yochmans Honda would have beat me in a 1/4 in the buick. But he had ALOT more $ in his car than me and my car was only a little slower and his was broke alot and mine wasn't. I cant think of any other way to explain it. DAMN I WROTE ALOT OF SHIT!!! :pat:

Maybe.. Maybe not. Im talking about if they were both the same build just different weight. Just an example of V8 strength to 4 cyl strength. But the 160lbs guy could be ripped and beat the shit out of the other guy. But it works the other way around to. But to ripped guys 360lbs and 160lbs who do u think is going to win. IDK just trying to give laser a example that makes sense in another form of cars. I could make a better one but screw it. i made my point.

Your argument is valid. You should respect the time and effort that went into every fast build. I'm not one for going in straight lines so I couldn't care either way but of course it is going to be easier to go faster with more displacement. If I wanted to go fast in a straight line I would strap a few Rolls Royce jet engines on and call it a day.

Ridgen, w/e your name is. Your thinking is one of the reasons the American car manufactures are struggling to keep their heads above the water. Its always just make it BIGGER. Instead of figuring out how to make it more efficient, lets just make it bigger thats easier. Yeah that will fix it....

?? Did u ride in it when he got in back?? That thing back fired like a bitch. Any time it broke loose it just went boom! boom! boom! not little back fires they were loud. It was still fast but not running right. I dont ever remember him saying he had it running 100% ever. It had ALOT of money in it and only ran a 13 sec but it spun alot so who knows what it would run hooking up ,but u can only fit like a 215/40/15 on a honda unless u tube it out. Plus he only drove it for a little whilr before he sold it. If all that money went into a RWD car with a V8 he would have been running well over 550hp and would of had better luck with it. That car ALWAYS had bugs in it. From dumb little shit like high idle to a spun bearing. Like i said 4 cyl's dont like alot of HP and cant take the abuse a V8 can.

No because alot of people are just dumbasses on here and have no idea what there talking about whatsoever. Then there talking like they do. Hell i dont even know everything. When i comes to imports I know a little bit about them but not a whole bunch. Its all the same except rotary engines. Wouldn't mind trying to build one just for the hell of it see what numbers it makes.
