Take back the keys!

We need a chat box on the homepage....if you don't know what a chat box is,its like an instant message that everyone can post in at the bottom of the homepage.

That is a great idea!

I thought about that idea, and decided against it because it would just turn into a flame war, and because if anyone misses out on a conversation they would have to scroll through pages of junk to get the idea of whats going on, and thats *if I were to make it log all conversations. The point of the forums is to post permanent messages and discuss. A chat box would just get out of hand. But good thought none-the-less.

Agreed, but anyone who actually cares what ppl on here have to say, are on here religiously so they would always be up to date.

ANYWAYs, IT WAS JUST A SUGGESTION BECAUSE ONE OF THE LOCAL VW FORUMS HAS ONE AND IT SEEMS COOL.

IRC applett maby.. their pretty simple to set up.. shout boxes are bad ideas...unless you have to log in to use them because people come on and put made up names or someone elses
