Honda guys any of you ever deal with Exospeed?

Postby LSXhilarating » Thu Apr 03, 2008 3:51 am

Long story short I have a friend I have known for over 12yrs thats into building Honda's, recently he just started a build on a new engine and went with Exospeed for the head and to tune the computer. As described in e-mails he sent them the core head with cover and the computer.

Since he has received the head back after close to 5mo, no valve cover and no computer. He paid up from for everything and now this place isn't returning any phone calls or e-mails. Shop owners name is Wil Navarro.

Anyone know anything about them?

Exospeed has a pretty good rep on Honda-Tech it seems.

I would try getting your friend to post over there in some of his threads, that usually gets a vendors attention faster than any email/phone call unfortunatley.

That's weird... We deal with Wil almost on a daily basis... and we have no problems with him... IDK.

Never had a complaint here

Weird!!!! :-|

Although I've always thought of Exospeed with high regards... I do re-call a few horror stories like these on Honda-tech.

I'll be buying slicks and lenzos from them this spring.

Thanks everyone for your comments.

I am not one to run down a shops rep without reason, I just think its bad business seeing as you should at least return a phone call or e-mail with a time line even if you screwed up.

I must say the head work is impeccable. Extra clean, top shelf parts all the way. Just sad to see my friends project held up more and more by something out of his control.
