i heard about that Miah told me about it at quaker stake maybe 2 weeks ago. heard he went to autozone and spent 50 bucks on those lil magnets trying to get it out... but it didnt work

i race street cars, not going after full out race cars... if u wanna race we'll drive both cars to atco and line em up (no trailers)

You almost got the story right... lifters on an ls1 are under the heads, one of 3 ways to get the cam out is to 1.) buy this tool for $94.99 (99-JPR-CIT LS1 Camshaft Installation Tool from www.thunderracing.com) 2.) but 16 small pen magnets to hold each lifter in place when pulling the cam out 3.) spin the cam and hope all lifters stay in their holding trays... needless to say i bought the magnets but didnt wanna waste the $50 on magnets so i just used one to secure the lifters in the trays, pulled the cam and one fell down... some more work, it happens (i returned the magnets)... already got the lifter outta the pan and currently pulling the heads, back in business when my new cam comes in!

i think u might have forgot i have a 6 speed, im 1,800rpm @ 65 mph... with ur auto ull be atleast 4-4500 @ 65 mph, i drive my car everywhere yo... i thought u knew! im going on the bandit run in may, cleveland to georgia!

its in all good fun craig, i dont have a back seat and air conditioning (guess thats gutted out )

Send me a link to this bandit run, sounds fun. I know we're just having fun but when you make accusations about my Mach being a race car to people I don't know, you will be corrected. Last time I saw/drove your car it was missing 60% of the interior, a/c, alot of stuff under the hood, and mine is as it rolled off the floor with EVERYTHING it came with, so a lie like that needs to be cleared up. And I cruise at more like 3400 rpm's but yea I do miss my 5 speed YO!
