No surprises there. Cars actually need to have a set of balls to run open roadcourse and some cars that feel 'heavy' on the street or a low speed auto-x are actually quite balanced at actual speed.

Hence the lotus getting beaten by a pair of 4000lb mustangs hahaha

Racetracks > Parking Lots ;)
It whistles while it WORKS.

I suck.

damn the cayman is faster round the track than the m3! and its only a tad bit behind the turbo...impressive...
But yeah the mustangs obviously have a lot more power than the lotus, and laguna isnt THAT twisty where the lower powered cars would have an advantage. Really a suprise that the new camaro SS was so close to the lotus...

And a cobalt SS right between the evos???....this just isn't right!

mmm i got the lovely chance to walk around in a cayman and a lotus at 140mph+ the cayman obviously has the power advantage, but i was really shocked at how insanely responsive the lotus was. handles better at 140 than my car does at 40

mid engine = ftw.

The Camaro costs roughly the same price as the EVOs and is much faster, whereas the Cobalt SS costs about half as much, has less HP and is still quicker than the 9 but just a hair slower than the X. Unless you have the money to take a brand new $40k car rallying through gravel and/or snow, then clearly the Cobalt is the better value. Plus, you won't have to worry about your gas pedal breaking in 2 under hard acceleration. ;)

Yea, I'm still around. Been real busy. Working, saving money. Brought another car. (See sig) Planning on moving at the end of May or early June, so you guys won't be seeing me around anymore after that.

No, SF is about 500 miles north (or 8 hrs driving time) from where I'll be. ;)

I have a couple but they're kinda shitty and on my PC at my dads house. Kinda hard for me to get them off of my phone to post on here via my phone, so you'll have to be patient.. if it'll make you feel any better, it's black. I just bought it last week with 48k miles. Completely stock save for window tint.

Holy shit, you're still alive? How do you plan on getting all of your cars to CA? Hope you can afford the taxes in that state. And good luck getting your T/A to pass emissions as well ;)

The GTP will be long gone by then. The Cadillac I'm driving and the WS6 and GN are getting hauled there after i get settled in.

There's ways around the emissions issue. ;)

1 week later, at Bman Best Buy.

With this shitty weather, I haven't really had a chance to take any clever Dave Widomski-style pics, so it'll be awhile on those..
