To make full use of the 20g, i'd go with bIgger injectors and a bigger fuel pump. I'd go with at least 750's or something. And a rewired 255 wally.

As far as the oil and coolant lines, they will bolt on just as if you had a 14b or 16g on it! :D :D

only 800 dollars and your looking into a 20g? With what I'm guessing onto a stockish 4g63 setup? If that is the case keep dreaming... your going to need a bit more to do it right.

You can get a 20g for like $400 used. Lets say fuel injectors and pump run you $200. Then spend the extra $200 on something to tune with. A SAFC will suck, you could get a dsmchip for $125 if you have en eprom ecu. (assuming the dood is still making keydriver chips)...

Aside from going dsmlink, you may be forced to try to tune that on a SAFC. :?

I really don't think can do it for 800 unless you snatch some super cheap stuff up off ebay. FMIC aren't cheap i got mine 50% off and it was still $450 for a race core.

SSAC is fine if you have a 2g but if you have a 1g have fun runnning miles of piping to get it to fit.

To clarify... EVO3 16g. Don't want him thinking he can bolt up an evo 8 16g.

Just take it from someone that is TRYING to get his car running w/ a 16g setup and was on a budget... lets just say my car is still sitting in the garage w/ the motor next to it, tranny in the back of my tracker, 1/2 the turbo on my kitchen counter and the other half at my buddies... $800 isn't enough unless you keep it real low boost for a while.

how do you figure 800 bucks cant make a car run 20 pounds all day long ? i bought a awd for 500 with blowed everything used the other 500 to rebuild the motor, snag a 20g, front mount, injector, maf-t, puel pump, fuel regulator then used all my extra parts.. parked my nice car used the ecu from it with link to tune it and welded my own center diff..

damn what happened to when people tried to make a challenge for there self ?
