I posted the video of Tommy Bahns Full weight street legal supra doing 228 on our old forums... well they are going faster....

I'd really like to try and get some people together this summer and head to an event thats at a standing mile course. (granted car works) I feel this would be a great opportunity to actually see how fast you can do a mile....

Veyron does 204mph stock, think anyone can top that!? Rick?

There should be more station in the next few years there is a boat load out west and it is cheaper out there also.

The stuff is actually good I mean you sacrifice MPG bc of the lower amount of energy that E85 makes but it is going to be much cheaper to make then gas so lower MPG doesn't really matter.

I suppose the auto industry could just engineer cars to get better gas mileage with the same power out put. That would be to much to ask and well they have their ties with the oil industry.

ehh e85 gets about 30% less fuel mileage, and costs the same as gas...... If it was a dollar, dollar 50 a gallon I'd consider it. But all these bitches are into big money.

It does have a higher octane rating tho.... its like 112... more boost?!

It gets 20% less MPG, so the e85 companies price it 20% below gas prices. It call eves out.

This FAQ was an interesting read:

Don't always listen to the government... I did a report on it last year, the prices used to be the same... Road tests with a Tahoe showed 14mpg avg on gas, and 10 mpg with e85. I believe it was Emunds.com who did the test... it varies...

The thing that pisses me off is that isn't the idea to help the consumer save money? But yet they still charge a fuck load so it really gets us no where besides less Dependant on oil.

Oh yeah e85 also is less powerful.

I'm about 100% positive this viper wasn't running e85 that pass as well.

lmao, with 5 miles of track!

This is a standing MILE. meaning 0-5280 feet and it did 231 mph.

Veyron 202-204mph in that same distance.

lol, thats why you modify a trans am...

I Wasn't saying it was superior... was simply giving an example of a very fast car doing the same thing for comparison.

Yeah, but my car was actually fast to begin with. That's the difference between my Trans Am and 90% of the "tuner cars" out there..
