Fucking pump on the wagon was fine today, pulled in, its been sitting in the driveway for a few hours. Go out to start it, no start. Starter is running, battery is great, but no go.

I just replaced the pump probably 20000 miles ago, and its fucking loud when you prime it, but I heard nothing when i just tried it.

So do you think it will be okay tomorrow when it warms up?

check fuel pump fuse, then go back to the pump and make sure the connection is secure and not buggered up. Its possible it went bad... especially if its an off brand ebay pump.

Theres no reason it shouldn't run in the cold, besides its not even that cold yet.

My relay used to freeze up in the winter on my AWD car......never had an issue in the summer.

I don't think extreme cold should kill it, but it might take a stronger voltage signal to turn it on. Check your voltage at the pump.

Mine always started after bypassing the relay.

or just re wire it using a bosch relay from radio shack, thats how my fuel pumps wired up. otherwise everytime key is "on" the pump will run and run and not shut off....

Yeah Ill check the relay. I hope its setup so that theres a way to jump it, just to see if it works. It's an in tank pump too, so its gonna be a bitch to redo anything.

yeah, so is mine, you should be able to access it from the interior of the car. if its a relay/wiring issue you don't even need to touch the pump.

I found they cant take a massive current otherwise you will melt them. Like my dual E-fans after a few months they would fail and melt.. problem solved when using two. If you don't trust them look around for others.

Parts store sells a HD 120v version for like $8

Use that one
