I'm going to putting them on the saab, the sti needs some 18's and somthing alittle wider than a 8.5

But the reason i want to take them apart is because i want to refinish them in a new color for the saab. There not really nicked up, but could use a fresh coat in somthing new.

Im not afraid to take them apart, but i would assume there is a trick to it taking apart and putting back together. like a certain tq? I may have to talk to HRE specically, but they probably want me to send it to them, but that is $$$ to have them do it.

Ahh, hmm personally since they are super expensive, I'd consider trying to find someone to sell them to and buy something else, or trade for a different set of wheels and get cash as well.

It does suck taking a huge hit on the price since they are used though. I bet you wish you could just pawn them back for the original price. Tough call, but 19's on the saab thats huge lol.

Had this old school set of 3 peice rims on my supra. Mine were 'sandwich' syle, so the tire had to come off for the center to be released.

Stupidest thing I've ever done was sell that car
Wish I had it back everyday :x

Very true. However I am going to be trying to get the saab in a magazine next year, so i might as well keep the wheels. If i wasnt doing that i would sell them and probably have enough to buy the wheels i want. :x :?:

Keep 'em

Postby Import Fixer » Thu Dec 20, 2007 4:25 am

If you like the wheels keep em. They are so easy to fix up if you have any scratches or curb scrapes. Just touch them up before you go showing the car off.

Shouldn't be to hard. I helped my buddy take apart some BBS's to refinish them, wasn't hard at all.
