Blowerz Yo!

Postby RSbeast » Mon Feb 09, 2009 1:00 pm

For those that I didn't tell, I recently purchased a Vortech V1 s-trim. Polished 8-10psi tuner kit. I'll also be running an anderson power pipe for a few more psi....but idk if I'm ready to fork over another $250 for one yet haha. :whipit:

Anyhow, I know it's been a little while; but I've been kinda busy. Here's a few shots of the goods and a quick video of the 'old' setup before I tore it down. I'm about half done :) Then I just have to redo the fuel and get it tuned!

Please bear with my crappy narration/remarks :P

Not to bash you but this is a typical uneducated dreamer post....

You might get the turbo cheaper but your forgetting ALL the supporting mods.

I bought the tuner kit because I can't use any of the standard stuff. The standard kits are setup for a dead stock car with a stock regulator and fuel system. So I'm not running the FMU garbage or any retard box, or the chip and 24# injectors they usually come with.

I already have an SCT 4 bank programmable chip in the car. I will be running a Lightening 90mm MAS with FRPP 42# injectors, and an inline t-rex or other with -6an line or better. I already have an aeromotive 1:1 reg, but I don't think I can use it as it's setup for the stock rails, so that's all going to get upgraded too. Anyhow, all timing and tuning can be done without all the piggy backing and with a rising rate reg as standard, I won't need to rely on some bunk FMU.

So far, even though it keeps changing; I think Street Lethal will be doing the tuning/drivability.
It whistles while it WORKS.

I suck.
