yeah hes just sitting there pegging the tach, just shooting flames cause its backfiring. Pretty much looks like the guy has never driven a rear wheel drive car in his life either lol

That would be a 2 step, you should get familiar there Boback your going to need one.

It retards the timing say -15 degrees or so sometimes more... and just DUMPS fuel into the motor, fuel doesn't all get burned enters hot ass fucking exhaust and ignites in there. Thus flames, and gobs of boost built while not moving.

Most likely, AEM comes with it. Nick has it to, its just not as hardcore. But does build boost.

Is two-step the same as anti-lag? Cause thats what I thought it was, cause when you see him shift in the video it backfires like that again, much like an anti-lag system.

yeah basically the same thing just different names. The reason for the next pop was either he hit the limiter, or just still excess fuel between shifts being burnt up.

Two step and anti-lag have the same effect, but are different. I don't have a clear understanding, but I know that anti-lag retards timing so much that the combustion happens almost inside the turbo. This is why rally drivers and such go through turbos constantly.

actually I see... 2 step is actually just lowered rev limiter it doesn't actually build boost..... anti-lag does. Eh I guess I just know in my head what i'm saying..

I thought anti-lag did something in between shifts too so that it kept the revs up and made the popping noise you see in the video, to keep the boost constant so theres literally no lag.

Well my 2 step builds boost... the two step is just a lowered rev limiter, since you are at WOT and stuck at a certian RPM, you are dumping more fuel, making boost.

The anti-lag pulls timing and dumps fuel, shoots flames into the turbo, builds boost and blows turbos. This is what keeps rally car drivers in boost during shifting.

There is also a nice option that i didn't get for my chip which is NLTS (no lift to shift) which lowers the rev limiter when the clutch is in, so that during shifts you don't have to take your foot off the gas.

Well it will build some..... because exhaust is flowing through you exhaust housing, however try that with a larger DIA ex wheel and... yeah most likely next to no boost will be built through a 2 step, compared to anti-lag.
