Superfly in Y-Town

I tossed this idea up with Vinny last year but we never really went anywhere with it.

Venue would more than likely be the old Sams club on friday night or sunday night when they are not doing their car show. If that location falls though im sure I can find somewhere else.

Suggestions needed:

A name for the event.
Advertising it.

I think we can pull a lot of people from western PA. Not that I have anything against Superfly but it is a drive out there so we make them drive to us.

Open to thoughts...

it is a drive but it's been going on for Years and i don't mind the drive.

If you did do something like this.. you would have to do it with a business that would allow you the space, not just an old parking lot that is unused butcause police would give you the boot.

You can try but this will be tough. I don't mind the 45 minute drive. Problem with western PA is they have Pittsburgh right there, which is a MUCH better city than Y-town IMO...

im shure people want to show off their cars to people other than the people up close to them... im shure alot of people would make the drive if it was promoted well

Maybe, but I look at Superfly as something "different" like a little adventure. Every weekend its the same posse out on 224. A few nice cars and a fuck ton of rice. I'd bet that is exactly what this would end up being.

Superfly attracts a bit of everything.

I might be a Debbie downer but, that is just my forecast for this idea.

Flannel Fridays FTW!!! That can be the truck show hah

Im being serious though, you dont think those people get tired of their cities too? hah it is more of trying to pull people from other areas here just like superfly does.

If you do it, create a myspace for it and have everyone put it as one of their top friends or whatever and post bulletins a few days before the shows. That would get the word around about it at least. Thats one of the ways maynstream media promotes all of its concerts and what not. they put up a bullentin like every week for that flip night thing on wednesdays at barleys.
