opps, that probably didnt make sense. The sti is not tuned (ie, see: not running), but it was already packed in the 'tour' trailer, so I just took it there in that so I can at least have it there and unload it. On another note, my Saab is finally hitting the streets, just rolled the fenderes with pops last night. Still needs the new turbo kit.

By hitting the streets, do you mean sitting at the booth, or are you actually gonna drive it?!?

Driving it today! she sounds good, put a nice axel back exhaust on it...that will do until big turbo time. Its looking ok, nothing special, needs some detail and setting the stance before it looks 'good' I think

sounds like a pretty shitty location if you can't see anything. Figured this would have been planned out a little better!

Let me give a bit of insight on there being no lights. We decided since there was no place for anyone to meet on the weekends at all, we wanted open up the NTB lot asap just to give people somewhere to go, hence the soft opening so soon.

For those of you that did arrive, I was quite please with the turn out for word of mouth. NTB had already been notified that we needed lights, but its not as simple as them hitting a switch, it is somthing the landlord is doing, so we were waiting for them to do it...and if you think about it, its a big deal for them to say; 'ok, ill spend the money to run the lights just for you guys' - which they are for this upcoming Saturday!

This will grow, period - there is no where else for people to go locally, so plans for sanctions and stuff to keep this organized and functioning as smooth as possible as being made. As far as needing a bigger lot, I think when we get to that point, it can easily be done, as you will notice the NTB is surrounded by parking lots - but this will be more of a play it by hear thing, as I do not think it needs to be moved yet. I do like that this location is visable from the street, since this is still mostly a word of mouth function, so the exposure will assist in growing the meet.

Thanks for those of you that did show, I am really excited about this event!

-Aaron

maybe you can set up a grill and have a cook out from like 7:00-8:00? money can go to the landlord.

Lenny Johnson. Yes. I told him to come and he brought a few people. He drove my Miata and mocked it. :(
