Yeah there's only a few I like... this whole switch up to sequential and dsg style transmissions just doesn't sit well with me either. Auto rev-matching manual is BS too. The driver is just getting taken further and further out of the car. I don't care how many milliseconds these features might shave off a 1/4 mile or lap on the 'Ring, I just cant see it being as fun/challenging as a no traction control, no ABS, a proper manual car with 3 pedals with the right driver.

and thats half the problem with it... everyone is too concerned with looking good on paper next to the competition

especially this whole horsepower war lately, everyones car just gets more and more hp, and never gets any faster cause they get heavier and heavier

and yeah, i swear the ring is taking over the entire foreign car market, thats all they care about anymore 'ring times'

how true is that!!! i have a youtube video of a new ss camaro at the track, CAI full stainless exhaust, and a tune. he started with 426 hp, it ran 13.2 @ 107. if you put a cai, full exhaust, and tune on an ls1 camaro you could run that or better. 3900 lb FTL!
