Why are you saying 40? He could safely run a 75 on that thing. And for a daily, he doesn't want it all the time. $1000 vs. $3000 is triple the money.

I'd do my research on it before hooking up a 75 shot to an n/a 2.5 liter.... not saying it cant be done, its just how safely....

Yea I would too. A 75 shot is probably going to require an upgraded fuel pump, colder plugs and definitely pulled timing-tune. So a kit + all necessary accessories to run safely + tune is definitely going to cost you.

on top of that hes going to want the power ALWAYS so that bottle will last hmmm... a day, and that will be $50 bucks... mmhmm adds up quick.

If you are going to spend 500 on a reflash, and 500 on the kit that is a K throw another 1500 down and you got your self a turbo kit,

what it does is changes the signal coming from your MAP sensor,or whatever your cars using to measure air intake.. then corrects your fule curve...the give you like 15 preset fule maps that you can tinker with. that alongside a wideband should help

you gotta pay to play my friend.

If it were easy and safe, everyone would be using it. There are risks to using nitrous, if you can afford to rebuild your engine if something were to go wrong then I'd say more power to you. But if your on the fence, I wouldn't do it.

It costs money to go fast, there is no cheap way to get there. Just my two cents

I would definitely talk to people using it in their spec v's. Get on a nissan forum and ask, ask and then ask some more :)

There are definitely cheap ways to running nitrous, but is it worth the risk?

If you end up doing it the right way I think your going to find out it's going to cost you. I had a 225 Quattro TT, I was thinking of doing around a 50-75 shot. I put together a list of parts I would need and it was close to 2k minus the installation if you were to have someone do it and the tuning involved to make sure you're running safely.

I just thought it wouldn't be worth the risk, because if I blew my engine because something didn't go right, I would have a whole mess of problems and more bills.

If its really something you want to do and have your mind set on it, call a good tuner and I'm sure they can recommend a kit and put a good tune together for you. It would probably be beneficial in the end knowing that you had it professionally done, put you at ease.
