It's called skip-shift. It's supposed to help fuel economy and protect it from people like us breaking it. All GM cars with t-56's have it. You can eliminate it with tuning or a
$30 gizmo called a skip-shift eliminator from Summit or SLP. And yes, those Brembos bite hard!

Is yours black on black? If so you passed me, i was at West and 224. Sounded bad ass

i always see the guy that has a plate that says nvrenuf or somthing like that.. it has a really nice sounding exhaust, i think he was running 13.0s at quaker, seemed like a cool guy that was down to earth

Mine is blk/blk, but it's on the factory silver wheels. The factory exhaust is loud enough for a year-round daily driver. In fact, an aftermarket cat-back is only good for like 5rwhp on an otherwise stock V due to the high efficiency of the factory setup.

I'm not going to tear into this thing, save for a tune and a shifter, that's what my Trans Am and GN are for.

Haha, when I read that post I read quaker as the track, not the restaurant. I didn't even think of the restaurant until your post. I just figured he was wanting everyone to hangout and race once a week lol.

Yeah Nick 99% of these ricers won't be at the track so you probably won't be seeing them lol. Besides I think our weekly wing night will get moved once the track opens.

Tell your professor that you are going out to drink and eat chicken wings and will do the assignments whenever you decide you want to. Then flip him the bird, and smoke while doing so...

I think the person who said DNA is now on thursdays at quaker was just making a random statement. He did that in a few threads. I highly doubt quaker would let a small group like us take over their bike night lol.

after this thread, i don't see dna even happening lol. oh well. if things go back to just meeting up in random parking lots and cruising around all night, i'm sure their will be bigger turn outs than dna anyways. i remember this night it was just me, dave, noah, drew and matt and the next thing you know all these people just showed up out of nowhere and the next night, we practically took over the whole walmart parking lots end section.

well i agree with chris on this one, this show is most likely over. I'd be glad to help out anyone willing to do a show, but fact is that dna is probably done simply due to that the D and the A arent interested in doin the damn thing, which is fine, i'm sure there will be something else going on.

It will be worth it though, i have a good friend that did that. its the 2 year program right? I dont think it was super difficult either iirc. It worked out for him, he didnt get a job with ohio edison but he did get a decent job, i think it was for the city of columbiana or something.
