so heres the deal .that supercharger i had for sale on my tc that i got for like $1500 i had sold for $950. i know i lost alot of money. so this guy frommaryland went to go pick up the kit and checked it out in front of my brother and called some guy and asked what to look for. he said everything was good and gave my brother the money. so now like a month later he calls back and its like yo u gave me a busted kit. i was like how. he said there was missing parts and i gave him a bent oil pan.if the oil pan was bent why didnt he say something when he checked it out. he said i was missing like a oil line or something but the stock one is compatible. he said he paid $750 for a install at toyota and the installer which is his friend said that it was a POS. when an average install cost $500. the installer told the guy that the bearings went bad. and EVERYBODY that has a supercharged tc knows that bearings will go bad all the time on the trd sc. so he tells me that he wants his money back and he only put 3 miles on it. my fucking ass 3 miles you bullshitter. and he said he had a lawyer and shit if i want to take it to court so he can get his money back. i said ok give me ur lawyers info and we can take it to court.

is this even worth fighting in court becuase every buyer knows that its a gamble when you buying something used. its common sense. hes litterly wasting my time and im about to ask this dude to just square up with me.

*o yea he said that toyota wont give him warrenty because the kit had a upgraded non toyta pulley. its common sense that toyota wont give him warrenty becasue of that and because the lkit is used.

I don't think he can even do anything. He checked it out, committed to buying it, and that is where your responsibilities end. He lost you win.

ok thanks. and he said he had his mechanic say that it was crap. wow its so easy to persuade ur friend to say something to help you out. like hes really wasting my time

yeah i dont think anything can happen from this. He checked it out and like everything in front of your brother its not like he ordered it on ebay and got it in the mail and realized it wasnt up to par or whatever. Once he handed over the cash its out of your hands, i dont think you have anything to worry about

he cant do anything. u can bring up in court that how do u know that he even bought that 1 off of u and it wasnt a diff 1 that hes trying to put on u. aand like the lass dude said he loked at it and everything tell him to bring the lawyer haha just trying 2 scare ya

If you know for sure it was fine before the sale its not your problem. However if your a douche bag seller and knew it was shit before you sold it to him shame on you. I hope someone on our forum wouldn't do such a thing. Nothing will happen about it, trust me, I've been screwed a decent amount of times its just not worth it to pursue legal action for the sum of money we are talking.

the kit was in good working order. and on scionlife.com im a trusted seller. i sold a whole bunch of things with no problems and now hes tryin to bs with me. like come on i dont have time for this. ill have to see what he says tomorrow.

installer error

wow what a tool... i saw pics of the kit and it looked perfectly fine to me in the pics... the guy is pissed he didnt install something right and is trying to make u pay for it.. tell him to fuck off

i told the guy to either stop talking to me or drive 3 hours to come fight me and he hung up. hes litterly wasting my time.

there is no evidence the kid probably doesnt have a lawyer cause a lawyer would be like dude you have nothing dont throw threats out or try to fight him cause you can get in trouble for that.... expecially over a forum or text like everyone else said dont even sweat it for all you know the installer fucked it up and thats what broke it

100% nothing the kid can do. no documented information the sale even occurred, nor can he guarantee the item he has was even the exact item you sold. He's just bullshitting you cause him/the installed fucked something up. Like stated before, tell him to kindly fuck off and have a nice day
