STi FTW. We own one... Gotta stay loyal. Lot's of point's they didnt hit on that the average consumer DD would normally look at too... Weird.

new I would Say STI the uglyness is growing on me, Older I would still go STI because of my style of driving. If I was into drag racing more than auto x and rally I would get an evo they have many years of engine modding/testing than the STI therefore are much cheaper to make high power.

Yeah I like the simplicity of the I4 over the H4, just easier to work on. I cant handle the STI's 6 speed close ratio, too much shifting required too soon.

Subjectively, I like the looks of the Sti from a 'rally car' feel.

I think the EVO screams 'tarmac' and is supposed to be a little tighter to drive.

I need to go test driving

EVO still stands, more opinions obtained from last night.

Pros:
Pedal feel and placement is fucking awesome. Tranny feels nice the ratios on the 5 speed are just right, seats are awesome factory and very supportive. Steering response is immaculate, car feels like a RWD only it has grip at all times under hard accel. When pushed hard the car says very neutral allowing for great confidence through a turn. Brakes slow you down in a hurry with very little fade from 100-110mph to almost a complete stop, literally puts your whole body into the windshield with decell like that. Exhaust note gets very throaty when WOT. Stock turbo spools no matter what, practically ZERO lag, and power is available in basically any gear at any speed. Heated seats, it was fucking cold yesterday.

Cons:
Dash gauges are very small. I wish the tach and speedo were a bit larger, would make them easier to read. Stock gauges in the center look cheap. Power up an incline is noticeably less do to its small displacement. It just lacks to the low end torque. Don't get me wrong its still very good, but compared to my car or the STI, I think it might loose in an uphill race, it was noticeably slower.

If I had 17-20 grand to blow, this would be my daily driver.
