Anyone else into old school VW's?

Postby Nick Serra » Wed Sep 16, 2009 11:52 pm

I don't know what it is, but I'm about to start hunting for a cheap mk2 to fuck around with. Those little things look so badass! I'm ashamed, i've been browsing vwvortex looking at these things haha

Ha, you gotta admit, they look pretty sweet. I don't particularly like when they slam them and try to make them look ghetto though

Back in the day when my stepbrother actually lived with us for awhile he actually had a test car from BfGoodrich.

88 GTi with a cage that got cut out of it and all sorts of frame ties. Had the good 16v engine, 17" Monsoons (black w polished lips, single headlight conversions, chin spoiler, brow and recaros. He got $ fucked and my mom sold it for next to free. I was like 16 at the time so I was broke anyhow.

It felt like driving a lowered s10 it was so boxy inside. They can look pretty neat from the outside though.
It whistles while it WORKS.

I suck.

G60 was the supercharged Corrado, but VR6 is the way I would go.

I have a homie who restored a Corrodo and made some exterior modifications to it. He just painted it recently. Cant wait to see it.

My friend's Corrodo has a Euro A4 or S4 front on it and it's 2 toned black/silver.
