point proven ^ so nick what can we now expect from you

Absolutely nothing. I poured all of my money, heart and soul into that thing for 2 years. Had nearly 20k invested in it. And I only have videos and 2k to show for all of it now (the rest went to bills). Overall I have realized cars are (although are completely fun) are absolute money pits. Not for people trying to go to college.

oh where should i start........well i never call that dudes bmw a ricer so yet again stop putting words in my mouth. yeah we raced cause yet again i got called me out. yeah i have to admit i thought i could beat him. he was stock back then. and he only put a car on me anyway.

jake jake jake why you gota hate? :nono: FOR THE LAST TIME I NEVER BASHED TUNERS I BASH RICERS. and i do love cars. and i can appreciate a cars potential. just dont talk shit to me when you have no performance parts and no plans to get any. but yeah your being a hypacrit when you say that cause no one can see my cars potential apparently.

sux about gettin screwed out of your car nick. that was one sweet machine. but yeah the quiet idol thing doesnt make it better then a v8. i like my rumble. quiet might be what you like but not everyone is you. and if your gono race its not gono be that quiet. and im preety sure thats what a stripped 450 hp car is for right? plus the looks of the car. not for me if you like it more power to ya but its just not my thing.and im pretty sure that 8 cylinders would spool a turbo faster then 4.

my camaro on haloween........ok so i went i lil to far with the type-r badges but that was to make fun of ricers not tuners. dave thought it was funny. he took thoes pictures.

i dont even know why i asked for numbers it really doesnt matter as long as your makeing performance mods and not just look mods. not sayin that look mods make u a ricer just if u dont do anything else then it does. but anyway thats sweet i hope you get the turbo.

first off, the whole point of it being quiet/stock looking IS IN FACT to race. You know what a sleeper is right?? that was obviously his goal with it.

and i'm not even gonna start on the v8 spooling a turbo faster thing... i'd probably just confuse the shit outta you at that point.

yeah i know. im just not into the sleeper thing i like my car to be loud. but yeah if im wrong about the turbo spooling thing tell me i want to learn. it just made sence that 8 primaries throwing exhaust would have more power to spool the turbo then 4 primaries. if you know something i dont tell me.

you can control when the car will spool by selecting different turbine sizes and a/r ratings on the housing.

Obviously a smaller turbine will spool up faster

A/R is a ratio of the exhaust discharge area vs the distance from the center of turbine wheel to the center of the cross sectional area. Smaller A/R housing has faster spool up. Bigger A/R housing has less back pressure, more flow for the top end.

to simplify that, smaller a/r rating the turbo will spool faster, but it will max out on its ability to move air faster, where a bigger a/r will spool slower, but continue to move larger amounts of air. (in direct relation to RPM of the motor)

How you go about choosing all of that is gonna depend on your displacement (cubic inches/liters) and how well you can move air through the motor (top half; intake/heads/cam)

best i could do at simplifying everything for u off the top of my head

If your looking at it simply as putting the same turbo on both cars, then sure the v8 would spool it faster... but there would be no point of putting the same exact turbo on two different cars like that

even tho nick sold his car we still have a few more v8 killing machines cars in the line up that are 4 bangers and im sure they all would love to race you now and when your car is built and i would put money on it that they would just walk right on by you or be running right with you

you drive a stock v8. i drive only a 2.2l and i bet you can only beat me by just a cars length. i mean its nothing to brag about really. every other car on here pretty much can beat me by alot more than that. at least if i lose, i can walk away happy knowing i drive only a grand am and the other car wasnt too far ahead. it would be pointless to race you, but if i do any mods your the first person im racing  btw to that nick person, that honda was fuckin sweet
