yea i know but thats y they make loans! they average like$6500 on ebay so imma get around 10000. and ill stillonly be 10000 into the car so its all good..ill hve a bugeye sti for only 10

Agree with dave here. No offense but you sound EXTREMELY optimistic.... So your looking at $3500 for a shell? and your going to want a clean shell... No overhead for random parts you might need?

traded the good ole DB8 for it straightup..ripped the dude off.
trust mel.i know projects dont go well..did bout 4 hondas so far and they did go as planed..lol..

i cant get themod bug anymorehaha..i got a Evo and a Subaru soon to have a sti motr parts aint cheap haha..only could have that mod bug when i worked on hondas..
although i got another AWD project coming in this sat..i believe if all goes well

Posted: Thu Jan 15, 2009 12:37 pmI have a wrx shortblock just the block you dont want to reuse parts but the block is good cylinders need to be honed
i have the crank/rods also one of the pistons is cracked so i took the entire motor apart and used it for the heads for my motor build.
200. plus shipping its urs if your gonna build a motor id go this route
