5 Liters=305 cubic inches.

You have an LT1 with 350 cubic inches... which is a 5.7 Liter.

Soo..

Are yu going to destroke it or put a 305 in it? Because if you go with the 383 idea, you're looking at a 6.3 Liter.. :poke:

anyone know what stock crank's on lt1's can handle?? on some forums i've seen people say they've squeezed 500 whp out of the cast crank from the factory, pistons n rods were the weakest link on it. i've heard lingenfelter did a boosted 1100 hp on the stock crank and no problems...they didnt spin it much past 6.5k though, but thats perfectly fine for me... anyone think i should really get a forged crank if the stock one can hold this much power? i don't think so... i'll have it tested to see how well of shape my cranks in but if not i can get a nice forged piston/rod rebuild kit for 1/2 the price of the other...that'll give me money to play w/ snails

Dude do you even belong to Fbody forums and search there? I'm sure there is a TON of information for you to find. Might help answer your questions....

Well best of luck to you. I feel like you need to do a TON of research about this and know a lot more before diving in. Read LT forums like its no ones business. Find out all the does and donts before you start dropping cash.

Ok, so you're basically saying..

1. You have 0 money. (kinda the main factor in any kind of build no matter what you do)

2. You have absolutely no idea what you're doing.

3. You have absolutely no idea what you want to do with your car.

4. You so tight on cash right now, that selling the car might actually be on the table anyway. In which case, why even entertain the idea of modifying it?

5. You're still debating on carb'd or EFI, weather you turbo it or not.

6. You talk of "ripping out the ECU, the extra wires and making it caurberated.." but you still want to turbo and stroke it because you think it'll make it easier to work on and it'll be more reliable, but yet you complain on how it's hard to work on it now the way it is.. You do of course realize that... Oh, nevermind..

7. You claim you're not even going to drive the car anymore, until you have it "done". Which won't be until like, 2040 anyway..

8. This has been covered before, but why do you come on a local predominantly import car enthusiast forum to gain information on how to modify you LT1 Formula? I mean, I know you're trying to gain acceptance from these guys and join thier club, but let's get realistic. Obviously they don't take you seriously. I merely come on here when I'm really bored for the entertainment value, nothing else.

9. Myself (especially, though I don't know why because we can't stand eachother) and others gave you advice on what you should do to your car and how you should go about doing it. Advice that would give you a solid foundation to work with until you get the $$$ and knowledge together on what you want to do to your motor, at the same time helping you whittle down your e.t's at the track and not to mention being able to drive and enjoy it for what it is in the meantime..

Hey, ah, dickface? You're the moron who insisted on leaving your tools in Garys garage after I've insisted on you taking them home. I didn't live in Garys garage, so I couldn't be there 24/7 to make sure all of the "people" he had coming over there all of the time wasn't taking shit. After I replaced your entire 124 piece tool kit for a grand total of $125 you were still boohooing to anyone and everyone who would listen to your whiny ass. And after I replaced the few miscellaneous things that were still lost after that for another total of... get ready for it.. $60, you still talk shit about me.

So.. $125+$60= $185. Now, WTF kind of car can you "finish" for $185?? $185 might be a lot of money to you, but in the real world it doesn't go a long way.. What would that even get you anyway, spark plugs and wires? Already had those.. lmao. I already had everything that I needed for my car at that point anyway, monkeynuts. It was just a matter of putting it all together..

no... i wouldnt like you to suck my dick. it was sarcasm u fag

as for me leaving my tools at gary's it was so your stupid mekanic ass could try and get your motor done, not for my tools to magically disappear. 185 bucks is 185 bucks... you had what was mine and lost/sold/ what ever the hell you did with it. if 185 dollars is so god damn easy and puny to come up with why'd it take your ass 6-8 months to get the money for it? get a job. as for people finding out about my tools its because people askedme to help them do things and i told them i didnt have my tools to help them. wait till people find out how u really are buddy... ha

blah blah blah i guesss i should call u some sorta name in response to your name calling... but anyways whats it matter to all of you when i get my car done? lets see i make 10 a hour, work about 40 a week... have a truck payment, insurance, phone, college, food, and what ever else comes up like getting 17 mpg and gas? try to make that work out and still save up enough to get your cars done as quickly as your expecting me to.

nice attack on getting my car done.... lol and i do know what i said, you unfortunately don't because your an idiot... and actually my car did go 13.9 last year at quaker later on in the year with just bolt ons.... actually the same ones tommy did sooo??? once again whats it matter when it gets done or what its doing now.

so you come on here because i came on here? stalker?? i don't try and impress any of these kids. i came on here for entertainment and to try and learn a little about the import world. but this site is horrible... because everyone gets in pissing matches over stupid shit like getting peoples cars done before 2040.

old chick or not date someone your own age for once... not 17 or 70

my selection of women has been better... they actually have vagina's... not holes with spider webs in there

i could really care less whose happy i quit the club, it sucked anyways... the same 6 people with the same cars... and the same everything kept showing up.... nothing new ever happend, there was no direction in that club or the leaders.... let alone the president who can't figure out a timing chain.

got nothing else to make fun of other than a tat?

anyways i'm done w/ these forums. i feel like everyone is 12 and constantly has to pick fights w/ everyone.

hmm... well.... when u come on an automotive enthusiast forum and ask questions like "wait, more cubes = more power?!" u can't honestly expect not to catch some shit for it...

read back and look at some of the questions you've asked... alot of it is pretty basic knowledge that you could have just found answers to if you knew how to use google. I know everyone needs to start somewhere, but reading is you're best bet for that.

fbirdformula wrote:What do you guys think about this eagle bottom end rebuild kit for my car? (inserted link) How much power do u think it can hold?

I mean seriously... read some of this stuff, you don't even have a clue what you want to do...

you also state in the thread numerous times you haven't done any research (which is pretty obvious)

you really expect to write stuff like that and not get flamed at least a little bit for it? you need some thicker skin man.
