I posted a craigslist ad. Its a want to buy passenger side door for a crx. I get this email today. I think im going to email the guy back with a bunch of random crazy shit just to see what he says. I need ideas on the random crazy shit i should tell him. Thanks in advance.

Bait him into sending you pics and stuff hah. Get him to take a picture with the check before he sends it, and see if he can overnight the check and the picture, so it costs him more hah. Then you will have a nice fake check and a picture of the dood!

tell him youre using a public computer that wont allow you to send pictures. ask him for money to buy a camera and computer so that you can send him pictures lol.

Thank you for the intrest in my craigslist ad. I am really willing to work on the price to move the car quick. There are a few problems. I am using a public computer at a library and have no access to any other computer. I also have no way of taking pictures of the car to send them as i do not have a camera. Yeah, so just get him to do some odd stuff to prove that the check is coming from him and that it will be valid. Hence, get him to take pics of himself, his wife, his dog, etc.. doing retarded things hah.

yes he probably will send u a bad check, and no the bank will not charge u for it as long as u allow them to put a hold on the check until its returned or money is cleared... the teller should know right away that the check isnt real based on routing #'s just mention u got it from a guy on the internet.... we saw this allll the time at homesavings... secret shoppers is the worst, i seen a lady get hosed for $3000

Bank can't trace the check. It's usually like a bad money order. So they can't charge anyone really.
