Then don't launch it that high. It's that simple.

I really hope this is a joke. Did you not miss the part that said regardless how I launched it anywhere in 1st 2nd or 3rd after 3500rpms there would be no traction? And if I had a sticky set of slicks i'd be launching at 6 or 7k so 2.5 is really really low.

I think you don't understand that a car with a good deal of power on the street WILL NOT HOOK down low well at all, even with DR's, on stock rear suspension granted... were not talking tubbed cars here.

Unless theres plenty of rubber at a "spot" or some VHT, hooking down low just isn't an option, if Gary has ever sprayed down low on the street I'm sure he at least understands this.

Your going to have to slip your clutch until it completely hooks in first... then to the 2nd gear, even at that rate it most likely break loose.. pedal it man pedal!

blahblahblah..

Thats why you don't drag race on the street with a car with power on regular radials, newb. I had 300rwhp from the factory in a car that actually weighs something, I think I can understand that philosophy. I think I've ben there a time or two..

This thread is just ridiculous, for one they are on our forum trying to start shit. Two they have twice the horsepower of us..well some, I believe when I posted on the MVO forum I was making more power than half the board  And they are afraid to race us from where our cars actually get traction. You get traction at 60 and so do I.. So why wont you race me from there?

You should remove the plates from your car, call your insurance company tell them no more, and use your trailer to take it to the track.

If you can't race from a dig, you can't race me. LS1's have crazy top end, so I'm not worried about that anyway. But I don't "freeway race" sorry, I don't like to endanger other people's lives. Quaker only, thanks.

And when did you car EVER out dyno anything on our forums?   Maybe my buddies stock '85 Monte SS, that's about it..

Nope. I built a street car and a street car only. But I only race at the track or the other place. That's it. See ya kids in the spring..

Fair enough, I don't like it either. Doesn't make sense about your whole spot though if you dont like racing anywhere but quaker though..?

Trust me I did. There were a few people that posted up on my thread and flat out told me I was making more power than them.

It was 1 person, and that was only after he made fun of you. It was a stock LT1 and he's not even in our club, so try again...

BTW, you made a point about us being on here, so why did you register onto our forums back in July?

Corey was on there also. I said youre on our forum to start shit about how your T/A is so bad ass and how because it has 4 more cyl it can eat an import (neato  ) I didn't cause any problems on there and I complimented people. I have an interest in cars, not talking shit. You are the opposite, You can't even comprehend fwd traction. I could care less if you were on here just to browse, instead your mouth is faster than your car.
You make me want to rebuild my block even more so that I can rip shit up next spring. I believe gary's car was the fastest car around here, so if he had an 11.38 what did you run?

Precisely.

I don't really care what you can do behind the wheel. Roll racing is for comparing car for car, not driver for driver. Not a hard concept to understand, but if you refuse to show me what your car can do, sounds like someone is just giving BS excuses b/c they know their car can't hang...

I'll publicly and openly say that I'm a shitty drag racer and you win, I lose. Hell I'll paypal you $1 to make you happy.

Come to me if you wanna prove your T/A to my 4 banger. ;)

I'll tackle this 1 at a time..

1. He spells it Cory

2. I was on here for conversation too. Until the "dub" goofball started calling Gary out and telling me to help him find his lifter..

I rest my case..

3. I also own a slightly "modded" GTP. So I think I understand fwd traction..

4. Gary ran an 11.34 on motor at SVN. His isn't even CLOSE to being the fastest around here (sorry Gary). Nor is he even the fastest in our club.

5. I didn't run mine yet since I got it all back together, because it wasn't done in time before the season ended.

Okay so one person gives you permission to talk shit to an entire forum and create shit talking threads?

3. I also own a slightly "modded" GTP. So I think I understand fwd traction..

Please tell me you are not the one who had the turbo mounted near the rear wheel hanging underneath the bumper :?

4. Gary ran an 11.34 on motor at SVN. His isn't even CLOSE to being the fastest around here (sorry Gary). Nor is he even the fastest in our club.

Okay well atleast thats how he presents himself, Actually so far he doesn't talk nearly as much shit as you. As far as I know he has the fastest streetable car around here, except maybe killa? Did killa ever race him?

5. I didn't run mine yet since I got it all back together, because it wasn't done in time before the season ended.

Okay so what do you have to back yourself up with? What makes your TransAm so great then? (just asking because I have no idea what you've even done,As far as I know it could be stock)

No, that would be Ryan Quinn. No comment..

Yup. And Gary beat him. For starters, we have a guy in our club that runs low 10s (Gary Redmond). In the HWK's, Craigs is a street car (9s) Arties is a street car (9s) Another guy in the Knights runs 8s in a Grand National, etc...

It doesn't matter what my car has. I know what it has and that's all that matters.. I'm not talking my car up at all, hell I was just cliaming it was stock. But I'm passed the bolt-on phase, I'll tell ya that..

You are not Gary. Gary gave me an Ok you got it and left it at that. Why are you trying to talk for him?

Thats funny, because he told me he didn't even know who you were. At what point in that quote was I talking for him??

Ok this is an endless circle of a wasted argument.

Cliff notes for page 5:

Transam doesn't want to roll race for fear of losing

Sav already stated he WOULD lose from a dig
