New kid here from Austintown!...yo (update!)

Postby itzJoker » Sat May 30, 2009 11:32 pm

So I was on my way to Red Lobster and I see a crowd of cars. Came by and looked around and I got a card from the dude with a blue Subaru.

Came here to check it out.

yep whatsup! Time to introduce myself.

My name is John and I'm from Austintown. Currently a sophmore at Fitch.
I drive a 1996 Nissan 300zx NA, black 5spd. with 67k miles.

Here's my beast:

Just messin. I wish it was.
Here's my noobie Z

btw, my shifter went projectile and smashed my windshield.

fucking awesome.

It's currently stock. I plan on doing a VG30DETT swap in the next 2 years or probably just sell this NA and buy a TT.

I was there for a couple minutes only. It was me and this other chick I just met with a white 300zx.

What's happening next Sat?

Second part sounds like a wiser plan, prices have gone pretty low on these. Going that route would save you money, time and effort.

Looks like yours is in nice shape however.

I'll try to come, but I might go to a Cleveland Z Car meet that Saturday if my windshield gets fixed.

I was installing a short shifter, and I got super frustrated because it was taking way to long to do (8 hours).
I had to pull a rubber boot through the support plate and it got stuck. I was pissed off to the max at this point so I just yanked that support plate back out and it took the top of the shifter with it. It went flying inside my car. Saw my windshield and I was like "f*ck my life". This is epic fail man.

Also, I got my wheels, I'm buying tires today. Hopefully the tires will come in before Saturday so I can install my wheels for the show!

Thanks man, I hope they will look good, especially when I lower them on Tein S techs.

I just ordered my tires today, I hope they come in by Saturday and my springs also so I can put it all on and go to the show. Plus get my windshield replaced.

I got the Z as a present from my mom for doing so good in school (4.0) and as 16th bday present.

I've saved up money to buy the wheels and and shit, they were cheap.

I also just ordered some Tein S Tech springs from Dave. Can't wait to get em.

Other then that, I'm freakin broke now. Time to get a job.

I think that's the recommended offset for my car.

I could go with other offsets, but I believe I will run into problems later, I dunno lol.

Fuck man this is some bullshit.

My tires were supposed to come today but now they are delayed till Tuesday.
Cant put on my wheels mother fucken god damn it, I was waiting all week for this. Freakin FedEx man.
I came up to them to try and pick it up, some dude that worked there didn't even know to say or where I can pick it up.

And then I got my windshield fixed. They broke all my god damn clips to the moldings while I was at Saturday school. When they finished, they glued the fucking old faded and cracked moldings back on when I told them I had NEW ones sitting in the god damn trunk. Jesus shit. My rant is now over.
