Ha, we turned on administrative approval for new users, seeing as there is a TON of spam users signing up. Originally, we thought an admin would have to approve the new user, but it seems to only inform us of a new account... which is dumb. I'm turning it off.

ok good, yeah I could give a fuck.
See it needs to be automated like other places. You register for a forum, then you need to check your email to authorize/activate it, then you can browse. I don't think ours is like that?

Ours is like that, but the problem is that the spammers have scripts to automate all of that.
I'm gonna look at the scripts for registering, and make some changes to make it harder to make a spam account.

gayness, see the other option which I'm pretty sure our forum doesn't have, is to only let them post in the noob section. Make it so you must post like 2 times or something until you can view the whole forum. Its like the post once and leave... I just delete the whole topic/post.
