easy way to Fab up exhaust

Postby fastlanerex » Tue Jan 27, 2009 12:52 am

I came up with this idea and figured id share it with you.

I dunno if anyone else has done it before, but shoving a piece of 1/2" flexible copper tubing down the middle of a foam water noodle makes for one heck of a templating tool. You can bend it how you want it and it holds its shape, and has a large enough diameter that you can really see how things will fit.

Sounds interesting 1/2" copper is sort of hard to bend in small diameters by hand though you would prob need a small pipe bender if you had some tight turns

Never seen it before, my bad haha, in my own defense normal copper tubing has some flex to it.
