AMS GT-R

Postby Balt21 » Fri Jul 17, 2009 11:14 pm

Saw this posted on another forum and thought i'd pass it on here. I'd like to see what it can do on some slicks with race gas.

Damn good looking GT-R. Its a shame how much of a pig that car is though. I'd bet its making around 650-700wheel, takes a lot of HP to push it fast.

My brother who lives in New York knows that kid that owns that GT-R locally. I guess he's a really big fag and his rich grandma paid for the car. Very cool car by AMS though none the less.

You guys may have seen this. Probably my favorite car that AMS built/tuned.

Those blow off valve/s sound sick as fuck! (porsche)

Nice find Harvey!

I think the AMS car looks kinda lackluster imo....coulve done better.

I'm pretty ignorant when it come to body work but I think he's talking about the over fenders on the Porsche. They are like buttoned on or something. I really don't know what it's called or how it works but if you look closely in the video you can see it.

Nah, I was talking about the GTR. I kinda liked the rear bumper in white, but the front just wasnt doing it for me, and I think although the wheels were $$$, looked 'cheap' on the car to me. I just saw the pictures of the stock vs AMS on that page and it just didnt do it for me at all. The picture floating online of the black one with factory bottoms, Ti exahaust and whatever the fuck mesh wheels that just screamed tasteful would be more my cup of tea. Maybe it was mostly the stance and wheels..idk.

Just when I think of something that is supposed to be like 'THE' badass GTR that everyone falls over, that one sorta fell short for me.

The porsche was late 80s awesome  Loved every bit of that thing, but I like the full glass like mega whale tail deck lids best on something over the top like that car. When it shifts into 2nd its soooooo good 8-)

EDIT* I just noticed that's the stock bodykit....painting that shit body color makes the front look SO thick at the bottom, that's my biggest peeve. It needs to have the black from the grill brough back down into it or something.

-1 style points.

What a deal

I was up at Geneva 2 weeks ago and saw a cammed c6 z06, black with black wheels with a targa conversion.

THAT is where my $$$ would be going, as I saved $20k from the GTR. But I'll be broke forever so idk why I even try to pipedream that one

No kidding, this might be a shock, but I'd own a c6-z06 before the new r35 GTR. No proper manual no care. The Z06 is a fucking beast.
