Tranny and clutch
Posted: Mon Feb 02, 2009 5:25 pm98 Golf GTI manual.....i need help with tranny and clutch...needs a tranny...how do u find tranny code? and clutch is slippin...dont have a huge bankroll to dump into it...ne sugestions?

the tranny code is 020 with some letter after it........ either 020 che, or 020 dfq, or 020 amc.
where are you located at? junk yards would prob be your best bet or mabye if your a member of vwvortex.com you can find one close and go pick it up with a buddy.
