Tom Hank
1992 Laser AWD
5spd
130k shell /9k engine
NE, Ohio
$4500 obo or trade

I am selling my 1992 Plymouth Laser in order to get a more 'normal' daily and/or free up some $ to replace the shortblock in my mustang.

Want a car ready to go REALLY fast? READ MORE. This thing is a few mods away from being rediculous in the 1/4 or roadcourse

I would also be willing to trade this for a clean zr2 blazer depending on condition/miles or other small 4x4 SUVs. I'll entertain trades, but NO junk, and you might be coming up with $ on your end. If it is worth much more than mine, we can work that way too (as I'd also like a newer Liberty)

The car has a CLEAN title, and is located in NE Ohio.
129kish miles on the body
around 8-9k on the engine
Engine:

Engine was redone last septemberish (08)

Bushur polished 2 1/4" upper pipe
2g t/b elbow
HKS SSQ blow off valve
ported 1g mani/02

235/40 iirc on all for corners

(white GST winter wheels/tires also included)

Interior:
Full BLACK carpet conversion
mistu 'factory black' doorskins/dash
mistu factrory red inserts/seats

Cylinder head temp
Fuel level
Sony Xplode CD player
car has rear/tweeters but no door speakers
Ebrake works AWESOME!
Hatch struts BRAND NEW!

Car also comes with full Talon body conversion (blue)

Car is very clean, sans some VERY light undercar and a small spot on the hood. The car has a few small dings here and there, but is pretty presentable overall. The paint is fairly new and shines great. Don't expect a showcar but it's WAY nice for it's age.

The BAD?:
Car could use a tune, but it's still very strong (have beaten 13.0 cars from a roll when it was colder at night, just don't expect to do it from a dig)...car is very rich.
Typical 2nd gear crunch /clutch is 'meh'
The car was orginally a sunroof car and was filled for SCCA competition legalities. They did an 'ok' job. There are ZERO leaks or anything like that, but it has a slight wave to it.
The hatch keyhole has been filled
I need to make trunk carpet yet as the cell nixxed that

I am being VERY upfront on this and I can get you pictures of anything on this car.

Timing belt/tensioner/waterpump is all new with the engine aswell.

THIS IS MY DAILY DRIVER. It is dead nuts reliable and I just made a 12hr trip back to back from NC two weeks ago. In the crammed 95 degree, loud, stiff, and a/c less heat, I have realized I need a different daily. I have a h/c/i vortech'd mustang for go-fast..I dont need 2 cars to do it.

Please feel free to send any questions/comments to:

rsbeast@yahoo.com

I will give out my phone # AFTER I recieve email contact from a serious buyer, as I cannot be called during work hours 8-5 mon-fri

Thanks again for looking!

Mustang, $4200, and I've no idea what I will next. Most likely something normal. :x

I honestly didn't expect the kid to buy it.....oh well. When I get the one I really want forever that will be that, until then I have just as much fun building them. Since I've only 1 gf i dont get much from at all; I might as well whore it up with my cars :D

Matt Liboski from Pittsburgh....no idea who he is; seemed like a pretty nice kid though. Was talking about tearing the fuel cell out for PA inspection

...i got so much shit going haywire in my life right now, its hard to really care whats going on with that thing. I need a home to live in, and a job that seems stable enough to support it. Car needs a refresh, want to spend more $ on a better daily...ugh. I'd say I got my health but ive been all fucked up since I had to move into the basement and sniff kitty litter and bowel movements all night long  Oh well, could always be worse. :P
