I took the seats out one time, it actually ran better times on the 150 jets with the interior in but running the 125 jets it helped by half a tenth.
It ran a best
interior in 12.564, best
interior out 12.512 on the
125 jets. To actually get in running where it was, took sometime and experimenting. Tire pressures, launch techniques, different plugs, different octanes of gas, different engagement rpms etc. The winning combo was tires 22 psi rears, 45 psi fronts, 2 shades cooler plugs, gapped different then stock (can't remember exacts now), 112 non-oxygenated fuel, air filter, pass. side headlight out, torque braking at the line to 1900 rpm, n2o on at 2900 rpm. Netted me consistent 12.37-12.39s it did slightly better than that but, one timers don't count.
Who knows why the interior out with the 150 jets didn't help, my guess was the weight helped it bite harder, I think it had a lot more left in it, say with a proper tune and a larger intake pipe but its gone so oh well. Nothing like hitting the bottle and it violently jumping two feet to the right or left. Its hard to tell in this video but it jumps 1-2 to the right closer to the wall as the n2o turns on. Sound is off time by the way. I believe it was taken on a cell phone. Damn that thing was fun.
