get a compelte kit, get a good ems, get meth injection and a good dyno tune. DYNO TUNE. for forced induction u will or will not have problems but its whatever. and beat on ur car so ur car gets use to the beatings. and its good to beat on ur car if its boosted. also do some reasearch on ur car and the turbos that will run best on it.

with most.. if they are setup properly there are no problems. So thanks for the misinformation!

The manifolds are usually weak, if braced, they are fine.

The turbo's seals are uaually not as strong as other brand named stuff, but if you assure correct oil flow, they are fine.

Other than that, some of the wastegates have bad diaphrams, this can be fixed with a latex balloon, same with some of the bov's

seriously, it's the in experienced people that dont' know how shit works that give most of this good priced stuff a bad name. They just toss it on with no regard to efficancy or quality perseective to the assambly.

By no means am i saying that brand name stuff such as garrett or tial is not good shit, coz it it is, but you still have to pay attention to each part and have a good understanding of spring rates and how things are supposed to move and operate with what amount of pressures.

i'm sorry but this is just frustrating to me. i've seen some amazing numbers out of a 500 dollar ebay turbo setup that now has about 10 thousand miles on it and it's goin strong. It just takes some attention to detail.

Heres some good reading on what basic stuff can do for ya.

Running925

nailed it on the head about the ebay stuff too. I have 5 turbo kits sitting in my shop. 2 I made Other 3 are ebay kits.

If your expecting to hang a 30-50lb turbo off the things ANY weld is bound to crack over time. etc....
If it cracks reweld it and brace it better.

best bang for the buck is a turbo setup you fab up yourself.
