is it with this new generation of Boardman street racers? Apparently, flying up on someone's ass to where you almost collide with their vehicle, then become glued to their rear bumper for about 5 minutes, followed by a traditional fly-by indicates a challenge? Let me know if I'm wrong or not.. I had some tool with a riced out, blue 2g Eclipse with a caved in driver's side quarter panel try that tonight. Then a turbo'd, newer white Civic Si did something in similar fashion about a half an hour later.. Then let's not forget blue, tinted out Mach 1 kid with 4 passengers in his car driving like a complete maniac, weaving in and out of traffic, all whilst revving at me. I was just out getting something to eat and CD shopping in my stock daily driver Cadillac..

Here's a tip; of you're driving like an asshole and/or your shit's half-totaled, I'm more than likely not going to race you. I don't need to get in an accident or get arrested over your stupid ass..

yup. dont hate on him personally, but i hate his driving. im out with my friends a lot going places, and i ALWAYS see him and he sometimes cuts me off speeding through traffic, or he gets next to me and takes off.

i was sitting in the turning lane going into pizza hut in canfield and got blown by by an eclipse and a new civic racing...and a red cobalt was casually following. Wonder if it was that turbo civic sounded pretty fast...fucking dumb though...before u know it were gonna have circuits going through the neighborhoods

Racing on 224 between rt. 11 and 680 is plain stupid. Cops are all up and down there. It varies from bad to worse. That's part of the point I'm trying to make. 224 is OK for cruising and hanging out, that's it. Now we have an infestation of sport bikes and hillbilly trucks that just takes the rest of the fun out of it, no point in revving your engine at someone or trying to drive like an asshat these days. Anymore, I'm just more about cruising the open roads. Make mine twisty with no obstructions. That's my idea of motoring nirvana. I don't have time for pimple faced adolescents in their idea of a hot car trying to crash into me in city traffic..

my radar was going off nonstop tonight on 224 all the way from 680 to raccoon.


as im driving (going the speed limit) i'm next to some kia full of dudes wearing famous clothing and dc hats in other words ''bros'' and they start revving and take off. i didnt bother to look at them. there's maybe 2 car lengths from me to the car in front of me, and they pull right in front of me and almost made me rear end them so i switched lanes real fast to avoid hitting them in which the car in front of them stopped, and they swerved around that car and came right up next to me and took off. i just dont get it.

Next time everyone proclaims that 'Boardman is the place for the car scene in the youngstown area' needs to come and re-read this thread because this is full of reasons why its not.

Boardman used to be the place to just drive(up 224) when It was accepted, but people like the kids your talking about ended that fiasco. I remember 224 being covered with cars weather they were domestic or import, and after people driving so stupid especially in a crowd of people who just want to see nice cars, the boardman township started bringing out a shit load of police who made up reasons to pull you over. all in an effort to get us car guys/girls out of their town. this is why people are drivin up the strip in salem and else where and 224 is basically dead(or not how it was). Its a shame because boardman was an awsome place to just cruize.
