When I goto the site I get a virus warning. On the bottom it says its xhtml and css valid but it fails both haha. cursor:hand; is not valid, its cursor:pointer;.

Joomla sucks. But it looks cute!

ok.. so the css error is part of the comment system for the news feed.. whoop te fucking do. no ones going to die
and the xhtml BS i dont feel like trying to find where the retarded joomla developers forgot to put ends on their tags or w/e so....


also.. i made admins on the forums admins on their.. so do me a favor and dont fuck shit up

ok.. i figured it out.. its the little php script i used to redirect the old page to the new one.. i havent got the domain fowarding working yet so i had to rigg it..

basically .. why its flaging the site as a virus is because it does what a lot of viruses do .. you click one thing and you end up on another page... well that's what this is doing but its all safe... but ill see if i can get it working without it

AVG flags it.

avg is beeing a little over protective..

but nick.. dumping it into root would be a bad idea... even you should know that.. all the paths that are saved into all the apps and stuff

What apps and stuff? You should be able to go into joomla and tell it where the starting path is. All websites are at "/", you shouldn't have it in a sub directory.

With real development, you have build the site on the dev server, then dump the final product into the lowest directory and change over the paths.

move all the shit, then change the following lines in configuration.php:

var $log_path = '/home/content/c/r/u/cruxms/html/New_site/logs';
var $tmp_path = '/home/content/c/r/u/cruxms/html/New_site/tmp';
var $ftp_root = '/New_site';

humm.. ill give it a try a lil later...

but i thought i was going to have to change alot more paths.. hopefully it dont shit on me...

Too bad it sucks. I only use it on my laptop when I'm down there to connect to YSU's wireless, because Cisco complains about AVG every time.

i like avast... i couldent get rid of something and that was the only program that did..

i used to have avast, i didnt like it, so i switched back to avg
