funny part of this is that the cops usually arn't even aware of the legal db limit.

It's just like speeding, they have to prove to you that you are over the legal limit if you ask, before they are able to give you a ticket.

Same applies to the noise, obviously you did not ask if you were in violation & if so how far above the legal db limit. So he just gave you a ticket, sometimes if polite about it, you can ask these types of questions & avoid the paperwork all together. Usually the cop isn't very happy afterwords, but as long as you don't piss them off to bad, you'll get out of there with a verbal warning.

notice though if you read that law code, it states at 35mph and under.. it never states RPM. Thats why when I'm in town, I putt... literally... leave it in 4th gear even at 10-15mph speeds and crawl about, never come down and rev math, or do I accell over 1500 rpms lol.

I never denied anyone on here being car enthusiasts. I always just called you people ricers and import kids. I'm not fond of Jap or Korean cars. I don't like Fords and I really don't care for anything from Chrylser after '71, save for the new Challenger. There are some European cars that I like, however..
